Kappenabend is literally "cap evening" or "hat evening". Another name is "Crazy Hat Evening". Like all other Karneval events, the purpose is to have fun, and this we do by designing, assembling, and wearing crazy hats. The event is basically a social gathering over dinner and drinks. The 2008 Kappenabend was held at the Klub Haus.
