Event particulars for this year's Kostümball February 6, 2010 is the annual Kostümball at the Ideal Hall in St. Paul. Costumes are encouraged and will be judged. Lively music by the fabulous Barefoot Becky and the Ivanhoe Dutchmen. Doors open @ 6:00pm with a delicious German Buffet dinner @ 7:00pm. Celebrate the evening with the newly crowned Prinzenpaar and performances by the Tanzgarde. Kostümball is held near the end of the Karneval season and includes dinner, refreshments, music and dancing, other entertainment, door prizes and prizes for the best costumes.Kostümball is typically held at the Ideal Hall on north Dale Street in St. Paul. An excellent roast pork dinner is served by TST Creative Catering. Live music is provided for dancing. Most people wear costumes. The Prinzenpaar are always in costume and ready to party. So is their Hofstaat and Spieler. However, this night, most all of the guests are also in costume and there was strong competition for first prize. The guests, of course, are also ready to party and many are frequent repeats at the various Karneval events. |
